Established in 1990
Cichlid Wholesale Ltd. began in 1990 on Vancouver Island, BC as a full-line pet product distributor servicing Western Canada. As a result of steady growth, the company moved to larger facilities in Nanaimo, BC in 1992. In 1995, the company realized it could provide faster and more effective services by positioning itself in a centralized location with Western Canada and moved to Calgary, AB. Cichlid expanded again in 2001 and moved to a new warehouse facility with four times the space. This was followed by another expansion to the warehouse in our current location in 2006 from which we service Canada on a national level
